Read course documents carefully

A syllabus explains the expectations for the course as a whole. Assignment sheets explain what a specific project requires. Students should use both together when planning time and asking questions.

• Check due dates, submission method, required format, and grading criteria.
• Look for required drafts, peer review steps, conferences, or reflection components.
• Ask questions early when assignment language seems unclear.
